Lewis is an amazing trainer. He has the right combination of tough (‘Lewis, you are killing me! ‘) and warm (‘Sandi, you are doing so well’ ). Lewis is passionate about fitness and this shows in the energy and enthusiasm he brings to every session. He makes every workout challenging, creative and fun! He places a high value on correct form with every exercise. He motivates me to push past my perceived limits to get results and set new goals.

While working with Lewis my body shape has changed massively, I finally have some muscles and don’t feel like I’m on a constant diet!

Ian –

I started with Lewis after breaking the top of my tibia and ripping my tendons off my knee.  An NHS physio was non existent and if it wasn’t for Lewis I don’t think I would be walking now. He works you hard but as the saying goes “no pain no gain“.

My surgeon said I was 3 months ahead of where he expected me to be on my last visit. And I’ve returned to work well before anybody thought I would. Thank you Lewis, if you’re thinking about using LG Fitness go for it, you won’t regret it.

Maureen –

As a member of pure gym I enjoyed the classes that Lewis was in charge of, they were fun, challenging and motivating, so when I was given a place in the Great North run last year I decided to ask Lewis to help with my preparations.   A keen runner, I have taken part in several marathons and half marathons and have always strived to improve on the times I have set previously.   My strength was all in my legs and I felt I had no upper body strength at all – indeed my press ups were crap!

Lewis is a great personal trainer, he pushes, encourages and week on week I was able to build on the work we did together. Indeed I was pushing and lifting more weight, mastering techniques and yes I can now do a decent press up!

The Great North Run was perhaps the most challenging course I have raced, hilly and the day was hot BUT I finished 9th in my age group and in the top 25 percent of the field, I was elated.

I continued training weekly until Lewis moved to further his career, my loss but many more people’s gain I am sure.

My body image was poor, my confidence was not great but all this has changed.   I always felt I did not need the services of a personal trainer, how wrong I was.

Since day 1 with Lewis he has pushed me both physically and mentally to new great heights. No matter what he’s there for me 100% with any support I may need. With his friendly and approachable nature it’s almost natural for him to motivate you and want you to succeed.
